The Jets don't need Allison or Patrick even slightly and the Flyers can't afford to trade Myers.

Let's just scrap this one lol didn't realize what kind of tricky situation Flyers are in. Still believe Jet's should go for especially Myers. Want them to bring back Patrick home too, people believe he is a bust but I believe he still has his future ahead of him. What better continuing that at home.

Still think Jet's should go for Myers, might be costly but definitely worth it. At least won't be giving up too much as you would on a player like Jones.

Now pay the rest of the pieces to get the second overall pick Nolan Patrick and if you don't think he's worth it then you don't want him and don't try to trade for him.

This isn't hard. Patrick is not a throw in player in any trade. Treat him like a top prospect that needs a healthy season or don't inquire about him. He's not on discount.

If you think he's a risk and not worth much to you, you're 100% correct and Phi will happily keep him.

I just don't understand why people keep trying to trade for a guy that has infinite value to Philly and no value to anyone else.

Fair points. Many people believe Nolan Patrick is a bust and yes has underperformed in his career and now a risk but like I said earlier, I said I believe he still has a future ahead of him and would love him to start a fresh page at home.

Yeah, Myers would be a good target, I just can't see Philly trading him. Their defense is lousy and they don't have much RD depth, so they can't afford to move him.

Copp and DeMelo are the two best players in this trade so the Flyers need to pay. Myers, Patrick and Allison if they turn out would make this a valuable return but risky for the Jets. I do like the thought of bringing two Manitoba boys to River City

No reason for the Jets to do this
