I'm not a fan of these trades. For Reinhart I like Hoglander, but the 2nd round draft plck needs to be a 1st. With Eichel, I just don't like any deal that Philly can put together.

Honestly Hoglander had an extremely good year, he was the second best canuck forward. I really dont think you're pulling a player like him and a first, id be content with the 2nd

You didn't sign 3 RFAs that absolutely make the roster in jokiharju, borgen and asplund.

ive seen this trade a bunch of times but VAN isnt trading 9ova and a top 6 cost controlled forward for Reinhart. Buffalo has zero leverage for a player whos an RFA who doesnt want to be there.

The leverage is the team trading for him can negotiate his contract. Gives that team even more control...which seems like a pretty desirable thing to me
