lmao the leaf hate is real. Look the reality is Amirov, Robertson, and Sandin are all A level prospects. Liljegren is a B+ and Dermott is a solid young defenseman as well. Leafs do have valuable prospect capital and it would be in the hawks best interest to move on from Kane as they are not going to be a competitive team any time soon. Maybe other teams will have better offers, like a Byram or Kakko perhaps, but Leafs will be in those talks.

Sandin, Robertson, and Amirov are all better than any prospect Chicago has.(Obviously Dach and Boqvist dont count they are on the team). Name contending teams that can afford to add a 10 million dollar contract, now ask yourself if that team has the prospect capital to trade for Kane. Are they in win now mode and want to trade for a 33 year old? There aren't many options. Leafs are one of 4ish teams that will be in on it.
