Not sure why Anaheim does this.

Also not sure why Boston does this. McAvoy and Carlo should be playing 45 mins plus a night on the right side

Chara is likely to retire. Should have 3 years ago. Ducks won’t take that.

Two years for carlo is not a real life concept.

Bad contracts for Ritchie and Goodrow, no shot Anaheim does that trade either.

Manson has 1 year left on his deal. Maybe you add in a pick or something, but Lauzon and Khulman are both good young players. Lauzon is probably worth something like a 2nd and Khulman a 3rd. So it's basically 2 2nds for 1 year of Manson.

I'm still not sold on Carlo. If he does well in those 2 years, he can get a handsome deal after. But I wouldn't be ready to pay him 5-6+ million now, and he wouldn't sign a lengthy deal for less than that right now.

Two years brings him directly to UFA without buying out any UFA years. That’s just not a thing in the NHL.

If you’re still not sold on carlo, look at what happened when he was out. 6-2 with him, 0-3 without.

Two years brings him to his last year of RFA, so you're wrong there. I'm aware of Carlo's value to the team and what happened without him, but I'm still not sure he's good enough to commit to long term. Again, if he does well in those 2 years, he can have his big deal.

Incorrect. Two years brings him to UFA. If a player has 7 years service time, they are a UFA, no exceptions.
Carlo played all three years of his ELC in the NHL - 3 years.
Carlo signed a two year bridge - 2 years.
You have him signing a 2 year deal - 2 years.
    3+2+2=7. UFA.

If you look under the long term outlook, after the two year contract it says RFA. However, even if it did bring him to UFA, then I would just sign him to a 1 year bridge deal. It really doesn't make a difference.

Thats just a glitch in the capfriendly system. Once they switch to the current year being the 21-22 season, it will correct. I think it’s just because they haven’t counted this as a year of service for him. He 100% is UFA after a two year deal. He did his bridge. Don’t bring him to a position where he’s one arbitration settlement away from UFA. They signed the last bridge deal so they could lock him up this off season. 4 years minimum.
