I dont think Miller is available, his agent squashed the Trade Request rumours but to answer your question That tough...cap wise avs really cant be adding additional in a Graves or Donskoi move for Miller.

Roster wise Graves and Bowers/Kaut would be preferred ....Avs shouldn't move Timmins, hes settling in nicely and at a cheaper contract, they need his contract more

I agree with Graves+ as the preferred return for COL. He seems to be the most likely expansion target for Seattle, so might as well get something back instead of nothing. If they did move Graves for a forward though, they would have to protect them and probably expose Nichushkin.

Adding another 5.25 would definitely put them up against the cap after resigning their own guys. In my opinion, I would move on from Donskoi and Compher to free up that $7M+. Fill those spots with ELCs, and use whatever money is leftover to re-sign or replace Saad.

Not enough value back for the Canucks if they choose to move him. They would likely need a top pairing D back and as much as Graves and Timmins are nice players they aren't that.
