I understand that a player is worth whatever a team is willing to pay him on the UFA market but, if that is the price and term, I want no part of it from a Leafs perspective.

The bottom six here is absolute garbage, the goaltending tandem is nowhere near good enough, and the centre depth is horrible beyond the top two.
