8.5 for Draisaitl is a lot of money I'm thinking if I'd say might as well do McDavid
for 4 more million for almost 2 points per game this year is a better value but it looks like you were trying
to come in under the salary cap, good job on that.

Before I even looked at your team a guy who comes to mind for me is Spezza.
I wouldn't call myself a fan of the Leaf's but I enjoyed watching them this year.
Spezza always stuck out as a guy who works very hard and leads well.
He's on a hometown discount of the league minimum.
At the age of 38 he only missed 2 games this 56 game season & had 30 points.

For the team I saw the most of this year (Red Wings) my choice on value would be Adam Erne.
I'm not saying he would replace anyone on the team you have here just saying
he had a nice year being paid a little under a million on a rebuilding team that wasn't very good.

Toffoli, Theodore, Point, Beauvillier, and Pelech could all be on the team and honestly, they are better than the players they could replace

Ya I had point and Toffolli but took them off. Toffolli maybe should be, but I was mostly basing it off of this regular season and Point was just a little worse than contract comparables like Scheiff and Marchand (even Barkov and Huberdeau would be better options I'd say)

Spezza's a good choice. I had him in there but took him out cuz I thought my Leafs bias would shine through too much haha
