You've included so many UFAs in your trades. Why would the other teams not just sign them? Like the last BOS-OTT trade is two UFAs and Riley Duran, what team will give you a 2nd and a 3rd for that?

For most of the trades I did it because the players want to sign with the Bruins so they take advantage of that and the fact they they might take less money and then ship them off for prospects/picks. This might make no sense, idk.

At least you know it’s not realistic cause….wow. 🙄

The trades are not worth talking about, they are comically lopsided in Bostons favor.

The signings:

RFA

Boston has to give a Qualifying Offer to Ritchie and Kase to maintain RFA rights. Ritchie’s QO is 2m which they make so signing him for 1m is impossible. Kase’s is 2.5m, they won’t do that so he will be non-tendered and become a UFA and able to negotiate with everyone. Despite his health someone will give him double that on a 1 year prove it deal. Ignoring trade that never happens, Batherson is not signing away free agent years for that. 2 or 3 years, sure. 7? No way he signs that.

UFAs

The odds of Boston ever pursuing Hamilton is almost zero. The odds of Hamilton ever signing in Boston is less than zero. And teams don’t sign players as UFAs and then trade them, no UFA would ever sign with them again. I love Coleman. 5x5 is pricey. I like Goodrow 4x4 is ridiculous. Palmieri getting less than Goodrow is mind blowing. Andy Greene is 38 and on the verge of retiring. Signing him for 3 years is worse than John Moore contract at any price. Not sure Bobby Ryan is worthy of a roster spot unless you are truly desperate. Kuraly and Miller get better deals. Kuralys probably won’t be in Boston.
