Dunn is a good fit for Detroit.

I'd be happy with this deal.

I like Dunn, he is a position of need, but not sure Yzerman likes him. He seems to be very picky in the guys he wants. Not sure hes is a Yzerman guy.

This draft is going to be a s***show so if Detroit can get a young already established LHD in exchange for Washington's 1st I say why not.

Value for value, Dunn for a late 1st rounder is good. I personally would say no though. STL is not trading from a position of strength in that if they don’t trade Dunn, they will most likely lose him for nothing to SEA. I think conversations could start with the Wings late or mid 2nd rounder, might need to add a prospect or up the value to their highest 2nd round pick, but only see them flirting with WSH 1st.

Detroit won't be the only team interested. I'd say, sign the deal before another team turns it into a bidding war.

True, didn’t take into consideration a bidding war upping it to a 1st rounder. I’d rather hold onto the pick tho and hope that Cossa falls to 22. I know we have a positional need that Dunn fills, but with the strength in the upcoming drafts, I’d rather take on players like Staal that don’t move the needle all that much.

The Blues aren't getting a 1st for Dunn. Wings offer a 2nd tho
