Description

I've been reading these Duchene to Hawks rumors again.... The only way it even works is if Kruger is going back to the Avs with one of Hinostroza, Hartman or Schmaltz and one of Pokka, Kempny or Forsling + pick going to the Avs (and I don't see it being the 1st since the draft is in Chicago)...

Also, I don't see the Hawks moving all those pieces without a LW/C and defenseman coming back to the Hawks with Duchene.

I Just don't see Bowman giving up 3 roster players for 1, so UFA's have to come back to the Hawks to fill those rolls otherwise the trade would hurt the Hawks more than it helps.

IMO, I think brining in Duchene would be almost impossible to work but you never know...

I know if Bowman does bring him in - next season he will have to trade Seabrook and Crawford without question.

If you could get the Avs to do that, I'd simply applaud, make the best top 6 forwards in the entire league for sure.

Kruger is nothing more then an overpaid glorified 4th line C and why would Sakic want an overpaid Kruger, If you want Duchene then you're at least sending your best D prospect because that's the ask what Sakic is seeking.

It doesn't matter, becasue if this rumor has any legs at all - and it seems to be everywhere now (and it was certainly a rumor a few weeks ago) then Kruger has to be going back the other way.....

I don't see the Hawks trading 3 roster players with only 1 coming back in Duchene... So..

Hey, I didn't make the rumor - I'm only trying to look at something that is actually possible and the player combos that would work in a trade for Duchene are limited...

Maybe the Hawks give up their 1st instead of their 2nd and add DeBrincat as well?
