One of the better proposals that I have seen of JD to the oilers. As it actually gives Boston some value rather then a some bottom six filler players and late draft pick.

Overall good, I think Boston would consider but I’m not sure if they take it unless they need the cap room for a bigger move. I still Boston wants to win now. And I don’t know much about Jones.

Also not sure if Tatar is a player you want beside McDavid

Just makes sense from both sides since hall kinda took debrusk spot in Boston and that’s a key position and need for Edmonton. Figure by limiting the cap going to Boston makes resigning hall a bit simplistic. Debrusk hasn’t really outperformed his draft ranking so the first is comparable with a fairly promising young ld should make up the difference. I think it’s more than fair but I’m sure will see some starts with Holloway or broberg comments soon enough.

Remind me again what you paid for Allen? A 3rd. Hmm.

The offer is more than fair considering how little goalies get in trade, if you don’t want it that’s fine. But fair market value is not insulting or block your number worthy. 🙄

Just to start the year with tatar and mcdavid if it doesn’t work can put Leon up with mcdavid and have tatar nuge jp as 2nd line or slide tatar down with Mcloed and debrusk up options are nice

Not to mention that second looks a lot better than what Seattle is going give for Allen during expansion. If habs decline not against just keeping kosk for his final year that was the original plan here money still works out.

id be happy with that trade as a bruins fans, jones could fight for that bottom pairing LHD spot and bruins are in need of stocking up on prospects for the future, just wondering what is the value of lavoie compared to jones bruins are in more need of a center

Allen cost a 3rd because he was making 4.35M as a rental
MTL extend him at 2.85M and had a good season for MTL
So is value is higher than when he got dealt from St-Louis
MTL decline not because it’s not a good offer, because that means we lose Allen AND a player to Seattle
So we could lose both Allen and ( Evans or Lehkonen or Chiarot or Edmundson ) for a 2nd round pick. I rather lose Allen for nothing then losing 2 key players for a 2nd round pick

I don’t really know what his value would be right now but I don’t see Holland moving forward prospects just yet.

Holloway ask would be a non starter for Edmonton. Broberg is doubtful. If that is the ask, maybe Boston will have to come up with creative solutions on what to do with Debrusk if Hall is resigned. That will likely result in decrease in value of Debrusk. Just my thoughts.

I just named 4 in the brackets () could be one of those 4.
I said key players but could change it for roster player if you prefer. That’s probably what you meant

3rd pair D and bottom-6 players are replaceable. No chance Seattle take Chiarot or Edmundson. Protected: Gallagher, Toffoli, Anderson, Drouin, Kotkaniemi, Lehkonen, Evans. It leaves you with UFAs, AHLers and Byron (who Seattle won't select because of his contract). Getting a 2nd for Allen is better than losing him for nothing.

I think Danault extend prior to the draft
