Canes legend. I actually think Hoffman may have himself a shot at a roster spot with the Blue Jackets.

I hope you know I was joking. I wish we gave him a chance though since he actually put up promising numbers in the Swiss League.

Best shot for him would've been the end of the Francis era, just as we were in the final stages of the last retool. He chose to stay in Switzerland. A rebuilding club like what Columbus might have to fall to is the perfect opportunity for him to get minutes.
