Yeah, I think if they added another decent/high prospect, and maybe another 1st round pick or 2 second round picks it would be better. Although it entirely depends on how teams view Rossi. If the trade is to happen, I think it would happen in a few years at least.

If the Rangers gave up their entire team for McDavid, which would then be McDavid skating around by himself with no one else, that would essentially just make them the new Oilers.

And judging by the Playoff performances of the Oilers during the McDavid Era, that's none too appealing.
