Carlo has a 3.5M QO. I think he gets more than that for sure, at least with that term.

If they're still in contending mode they should definitely bring back Krejci over Wennberg

Gotta believe Hyman will only play for a good team. Yes, Boston would be a good fit for Hyman.

The rumors are that Hyman turned down a 5 million AAV contract. You're not getting him at that price, and there will certainly be other teams with more competitive offers

rask is overpaid from how the exit zoom calls went i can't see bruins signing rask more then 2 years and also seems like money isn't a problem and considering he will miss about 20+ games almost i'd assumed he would sign for around 3.5-4 mill. also i like wennberg but i think krech resigning for one more year is the more realistic play, also wouldn't be surprised if derbusk was apart of a deal for one of graves, ekholm or manson and then bruins look for a third line winger in FA

I'm always confused why people feel the need to sign a million UFA's... like bruh y'all know Sweeney is only gonna sign 3rd-4th liners for under 3 mill. Also trading away your 4th highest goal scorer (Nick Ritchie) is probably an ill advised idea, and it's really optimistic of you to think Kase, who's an RFA and literally played 3 games this season, will be selected by Seattle.

i think he will get a 3yr bridge deal around that pay, bruins need to know how serious is concussion problems will be before locking him up long term, so sign him 3 yrs if he doesn't get hurt throughout those yrs then he will get his money and his term

Carlo is a right shot which is more valuable and Dumoulin signed when the cap was lower.

Rasmus Andersson got 4.55Mx6 without a bridge contract (less UFA years bought) and I think Carlo is just as good.

Did you watch the playoffs man? Ritchie is awful. You can spout off about all the goals that banked in off his ass on the powerplay all you want. It doesn’t change his play.

ritchie is just too slow. I also think his stats are overseen by the fact that krecji did everything for him and he played pp with the perfection line, all he literally had to do was stick his fat a** infront of the net and try to screen and deflect pucks

Sure he had 5 goals on the pp, but that means he had 10 even strength goals... so what if they all went off of his ass, all that means is that he's in position, and a good net front screen. Listen I get why you say he's bad, the man has to skate around a 230lb frame, and simply doesn't have good enough speed to check people, like a Wagner or Kuraly. If he was just more assertive in a fighter role he would definitely be more liked by the fans.

Well if that's affecting his value why would you sign him long term? You know as well as I that this contract is far under his market value.

Or, you could just watch the game and realize how horrible he was. You’re a bruins fan right? Did you really not watch the playoffs? Worst player I’ve ever seen wear that jersey.

There's stats and there's the eye test. I get +/- is a flawed stat but being a -7 on a good Bruins team raises a flag. I didn't watch a ton of Bruins this year but I found Ritchie stood out as more bad than good. I think the Oilers have more interest in a potential buy low situation like Debrusk if the Bruins re-sign Hall.

And then the eyeball test is there to reaffirm, “holy crap this is one of the worst players thats ever pulled on an NHL sweater.”

no i think he should get a 2-3 yr deal thats not long term thats a bridge deal for around 4.5mill carlo has to understand their is a risk now with signing him long term until we know for sure if concussions will badly affect his future or not

Oh agreed 100%, but you also have a coach named Bruce Cassidy, who only plays people he likes and ruin's everyone else's career. His constant "line shuffling" doesn't allow players to gain line chemistry at all, then he blames the players for not playing good and then Kurls and Wags get 40 minutes a night... I think this team has the talent. The coaching staff just can't put it together. I mean c'mon Coyle has put up 40 points in this league for many seasons, and he's our 3RD LINE CENTER, how do we not win every game! I dunno, definitely wanna see Freddy more, just don't see it with the coach we have.
