It’s pretty risky to bet on Kuznetsov right now with his off ice issues. I’m not certain the hawks take that risk with his high acquisition cost. We are giving up more of what we NEED than we are getting back.

Hawks sent Panik to Arizona over cocaine use. I don’t think a major market can trade for someone who has similar struggles that have been made so public therefore trading Kuzy should be off the menu. Caps should rehab Kuzy and keep one of the best Russian centers in hockey on their team.

Also Hawks need faceoff victories for their system to work and Kuzy just ain’t it for that.

Hawks are running Toews, Dach, Suter, Kampf down the middle. The reason Strome is available is because of Dach and Suter. Murphy is needed and would take a lot to move him.

I think if that's the return for Kuzy caps should back off and rehab him back to form before trading him.

3) right shot bottom 6 centre
4) LD ? Klelfboms future unknown
5) fill out the rest of the roster

I agree the bottom 6 needs more depth but as you can see there’s more pressing holes to fix.

We have plenty of Centre depth and a lot of youth coming through. We have also committed to a rebuild as confirmed by the letter penned to fans only last season.
