Brenden can’t play there with that last name.

Why would LA give up a defence prospect?

Because they get a young dman back and have 6 other d prospects. Plus they get a top 6 forward that they want.

Brown : 17 - 14 = 31 points in a full season
Zucker : 9 - 9 = 18 points in 38 games, annualizes out to 27 points in a full season
Brown is signed for one year and is a former captain; Zucker is signed for 2 years at almost the same cap hit

Grans : higher upside than Pettersson and under team control much longer

In short, this would be a bad trade for Los Angeles with only those elements in it, and you want us to add in a bottom-6 forward and a third-round draft pick

Zucker is younger and obviously in a buy low situation. I think Zucker has more value to them.

MP is what Helge could be in 3 years. If LA wants to compete now like they say this move makes sense.

Remove the pick? Maybe.

Kings decline. Pettersson is an overpaid bottom-pairing player. Trading Brown with retention basically means the Kings get Zucker for $8M cap hit next season. They lose one of their only gritty players in Lemieux and lose their second round pick from last year. This is atrocious.

What would you trade for Zucker then. Apparently looking for two top 6 F’s so i think Zucker is a strong possibility.

Basically, the question is, can the Kings find a similar winger at a similar cap hit in the free agency, if so, then not much.
