If Nylander didn't just have the playoffs he did, I would do that in a heartbeat. I'd still probably do this trade anyways

-way way way too much for Granlund
-Not sure I like that CLB trade for either team. At the point of giving Hamilton a $68 million dollar contract we probably shouldn't give Jones a massive extension afterwards, and I'm not sure Laine moves the needle far enough forward to justify shipping off that many assets

Laine wasn't really utilized correctly in Columbus, torts tried to make him a 2-way player and he's not. He is just a pure goal scorer. Look at OVI's stats early in his career when they tried to use him like that. The flyers already have plenty of 2-way forwards, including coots one of the best, if we simply used him as a PP specialist and let him play his game he can probably recover to a 30-40 goal scorer again.
