Realistic Offseason without any major trades. Hyman takes a discount but is signed for a longer-term. Granlund plays in the top 6 most likely on that second line. Haula is a great 3C to replace Kerfoot. Spezza and Simmonds run it back and play on the fourth line with Brooks. Reimer backing up Campbell and might be playing as a Tandem.

Not to nitpik because it's such an insignificant trade, but the Pens are one of the last teams with the ability to take on a cap-dump. He's not a bad player for the money, but he doesn't fit in line with what the Pens are looking to do. That said, I'm sure the Pens could probably flip him.

Kings aren't interested in Kerfoot they need a top-6 player and his numbers have fallen off for the last two seasons to no longer justify his cap hit.

If Engvall is a cap dump then you’ll need to pay to get rid of him. Especially to a team that doesn’t need or want him because they have like 17 forwards that are better to choose from.
