Lineup Explanations
-Barkov and Laine are best friends. Laine provides a legit sniper that FLA has missed w/ Hoffman's departure. I think Coach Q and Laine would be a good match, as I don't think Q would force Laine into situations he isn't comfortable with and will let him play his game.
-Think Tippett and Duclair are interchangeable on second and third wing
-Wennberg comes back in case Bennett falls off and/or Lundell struggles.
-Mamin comes back from the KHL
-Hornqvist drops to Line 4 as he isn't the same 5 on 5 anymore.
-Martinez and Cole shore up the D, as Yandle is bought out and Stralman set to Seattle as part of an expansion draft deal.

instead package a 2nd with stralman (bc thats all it would take) and use the 1st to trade for patty laine

Why the Kirk trade? I'm English and I've watched Liam Kirk from a very young age, but... why trade for him now? Is his value that high after his incredible IIHF performance or is it more to move away from Carlsson?

He is an RFA with Arb Rights. It has to start at 7.5 or they lose him for nothing. No chance it is less then 7.5.

Depends on what Kekalainen thinks of the prospects (Saarela and Luostarinen in particular), but I could potentially see that Laine trade happening.
