Dougie goes to DC

Created by: doreh
Team: 2021-22 Washington Capitals
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 15, 2021
Published: Jun. 15, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
What other nhl city can give Dougie a better museum selection to enjoy? He's definitely going there. Caps use this opportunity to get younger at the position while still having a elite 1D for a small cap increase and a chance to restock picks and prospects by moving Carlson, who also is an elite RHD.

Dillon to Seattle as a former Seattle Thunderbird returns home. All the other trades are just to move salary and could be to any other team.

I'm not going anywhere near another Kuznetsov trade. I've learned my lesson.

This is for fun so no need to take this seriously

This is my dream. Get an elite 2 way dmen then trade Carlson for some much needed pick/prospect help. It's a win win. Wish management would do it. I love Carlson but this is just a no brainer move.

No thanks. I like Carlson, but we have a younger Carlson already.

Evan Bouchard. He really reminds me of John Carlson. He plays the exact same game.

Thank you I was confused on who the oilers had currently but that makes sense. You’re better off not taking on Carlson’s contract honestly.

That's fair. Thought he'd be a better version of Barrie on the PP and a much better one at 5 on 5 but if Bouchard is ready, there's no need for them to do it.

But this is about getting Dougie. Carlson has great value and definitely would have a lot of suitors. Anyone willing to offer close to the original offer would be great. If there's no estabilished cheaper RHD coming the other way, just keep Jensen
