Taking another stab at this

Description
Considering the fact we add Risto, Jett Woo, and Cal Foote, we don't need Brandt Clarke, therefore we draft Luke Hughes at 4th overall and have a nice 1-2 punch of Ty Smith and Luke Hughes at LD for many years

Not taking depth free agency signings into consideration, just creating a possible starting lineup.

And I know its a pretty significant amount to give up for Cal Foote but I don't think Tampa would give him up for anything less because of their cap situation.

    I don't see the Sabres trading Risto for a 5th, a career minor leaguer and a fringe nhl prospect.

    That Severson trade is so dumb from the Devils side I can't even wrap my head around it...

    NJ Devils say NO to all of these deals.

    Sabres - Risto is the last player we should acquire.
    Flyers - Two sizable cap moves ... I think we can make cap space more productive
    Canucks - Jet Woo is at best #6-7 d-man. Severson is our #1. Would need their 1st to make even worth considering.
    Lightning - Way too much for Foote. (Kuokkanen and Edwards are as good as prospects as Foote).

    I would probably only do the ristolainen trade. The other trades just don’t make sense and probably put the team in a worse position

    This is horrible. I love how everybody is quick, fast in a hurry to dump Butcher on somebody just to turn around and get Ghost. Risto will have you begging for Severson back. Woo and Foote should be decent, but you’ll still wish you drafted Clarke. And you’ll look pretty silly when Kuok and Bo are 40-50 point players in Tampa. Good news is you should have a lovely edible arrangements from Buffalo to soak up some of the booze you’ll be drinking after watching the Ghost-Risto pairing for a shift or two
