Yeah it’s started at the MTL TDL Butcher vs Chiarot, but the playoffs showed you CAN’T have guys like Butcher, they get run over. Chiarot Weber Edmundson Petry are MTL best dmen by far, they are all 6’3 210+ lbs. Gustafsson Kulak Merrill aren’t playing minutes because they are too small and not heavy enough. The problem MTL have is they are all slow dmen outside Petry. You need big dmen with good skating abilities to win in the playoffs. You can have a Makar or that type off smaller dmen, but not too much. Look at Girard in COL, he got ran over by the Golden Knights. Anyway I don’t think Bergevin would be interested in Butcher this offseason
