As great as Palmieri has been for us in the playoffs, let's not bring him back. We need cap flexibility and he's a luxury more than a need, especially at that price.

I love the idea of bringing in Jake McCabe. Not sure if he's going to get a one-year prove-it deal or a regular contract, but the idea of bringing him to play with Dobson I'm all for.

Very true, the Palmieri signing was the one I was sort of 50/50 on. He would obviously provide more depth but like you mentioned, is definitely a luxury. Cap flexibility is probably more important.

McCabe on a cheap-ish one year deal as he returns from injury would actually be a really good move. He was one of the best DFDs in the league this season before he got hurt.

I've said this before, but I really don't think Seattle is taking Leddy, at least at his full cap hit/salary ($5.5 MM / $7 MM). Think if they wanted him they'd select someone else (Czarnik, MDC, Johnston, etc.) and then trade for Leddy with some salary retained.

Otherwise, I like it. There is a pathway to potentially fitting Palmieri and the RFAs have relatively fair contracts imo

I appreciate the feedback man! I agree with your thought process on Leddy, his cap hit/salary are quite high so I feel like they might be able to get another asset out of NYI or trade for him after the fact like you mentioned.
