I’d love Marner but that trade is so lopsided lol. Especially since Hawks are doing you a favor. Get rid of the draft picks and it’s closer.

you dont trade a 2nd and a rfa for a soon to be 30 year old RFA when Rathbone and Hughes will do what rielly does.

Take away the 1st and I would look at this. Would prefer to have both picks gone but there could be negotiation on getting a pick with that haul.

I have a feeling most leafs fans won't agree with this trade.

sure if he was 5 years younger and we didnt have Hughes.

All I am saying is Hughes gets 80% of the powerplay time on the point, you not bouncing EP, BH, BB or Miller off PP1 so where does rielly play?
Situation is the same as signing Barrie.

Rathbone has the skill set to run the point on PP2.

Rielly just isnt the Dman Vancouver needs
