Yes. Teams that are in the playoffs can actually still trade, but any players they acquire can't join the team in the playoffs.

LA isn't necessarily out. The Kings are just adamant that Byfield is off the table. Buffalo is insisting that Byfield be included in an Eichel return. As long as that sticks, the Kings are out.

If Buffalo decides that they're willing to consider a return that doesn't include Byfield, then the Kings would very much be back in.

Well i cant see the deal happening without turcotte or byfield in the mix , your giving up one of the best C’s in the game and cant just take grans a 1st , 3rd and ****emo type of deal you need quality for quality not 5 meh pieces for a stud #1c

If they dont get the deal they want they have to make him sit

I think LA would consider trading Turcotte for Eichel, just not Byfield. If they can build something around the #8 overall + Turcotte + two lesser pieces, then I think a deal could be made.

In my eyes, the only untouchable pieces for Eichel are Byfield, Bjornfot, Anderson, and Petersen.

Anderson? https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=178052 Him? Why would he be untouchable he’d be dealt in there so bad if its what was needed lol anyways i think I’d prefer zegras over turcotte if i can make that move happen . Its buffalo so anything can happen

Positional need. LA has exactly 2 NHL caliber LHD in their organization, and both are needed on the team next year. Anderson and Bjornfot were both exceptional this season. Unless it's in a trade for an upgraded LHD, I can't see the Kings moving either player for a forward, even if it's Eichel.

Also, your link is to Anderson-Dolan. I'm talking about Mikey Anderson.

Ah ok , never heard of him if im being honest . Anyways buffalo should be in no hurry and have do whats right for them and force eichel to sit at home if need be or else they can expect players to demand trades in the upcoming seasons

I don't know why they'd have Eichel sit at home. He's under contract, they have to pay him either way. If they don't move him, they'll play him.

Kaliyev is as untouchable as they come.

Don't agree. I think they'd give him up in an Eichel trade. He's more valuable than other pieces like Kupari, Madden, or Thomas, but if he's the piece they insisted on, I think the Kings would include him. It would lessen the remaining pieces going back to Buffalo though.

No,He's the only elite winger prospect,if we're getting a center we give up centers for we have too many,if Bjornfot is untouchable,Kaliyev is too.

Shouldnt just give him away for a package they feel and more importantly know is underwhelming, plus it sends a message to future players to think twice about demanding a deal other wise you can expect a ton more to demand moves in upcoming seasons
