The most I do for Eichel

Created by: GMCM
Team: 2021-22 Anaheim Ducks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 16, 2021
Published: Jun. 16, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Not saying this is a fair deal for BUF, but as a Ducks fan I think this would be the most I personally would give up for Eichel.

LA definitely should be the frontrunner based on their deeper prospect pool

I’d rather give up one good ass player like Comtois and 3rd rather than the entire farm

So is Anaheim like the only team left in the Eichel race? I heard LA had dropped out. If LA dropped out Buffalo must be asking for a lot. Not sure why Anaheim would still be in.

If you think that’s the entire farm, oh boy. That offer is very much quantity with very little quality. The only quality piece is 3OA. Steel has regressed. Mahura hasn’t solidified himself as an NHLer. Jones is improving but I’ve never thought he was more than a #7 fwd who could play in top 6 if needed. Tracey is still a little ways away from the NHL. And then it’s two 2nds.

I’d give up more than this offer but I’d try to stay away from including Comtois if possible. 3OA, Terry, and Perrault. If they’ll take Henrique I’d add another pick. But not much more than that. Based on prices I might be more inclined to go after Reinhart.

If Im LA I wouldn’t give up the farm for Eichel and I wouldn’t trade Byfield or Turcotte away either. Byfield and Kopi can be the next 1-2 till Kopi regress and why pay 10M and whole bunch of prospects when they truly need scoring wringers in my opinion. I know they said they want to add 2 top 6 but I think they want scoring wringers.

How about

Adam Henrique
Ian Moore
Brayden Tracey
2021 1st
2022 1st (unprotected)
2023 1st or 2nd or 3rd (conditional pick - based Eichel games played in 2021-22 and 2022-23)

What, yeah thats what we said? A source said they weren't making an offer for Eichel, they're literally out

No I was just saying my thoughts of why LA probably dropped out. Srry should’ve been more specific. As for Ana I can see them because they dont have the Center prospects like LA but it would also depend on the price

Obviously it isn’t the whole farm, I mean I’d rather give up a good player rather than players we can still develop in good players. I’m not ready to give up on Steel and Mahura yet

Henrique is a cap dump, dont need Moore, Tracey had 0 points in the A. No reason to add a 23 pick unless you know the offer is significantly short. Anaheim has to give up something

I think a new coach would do Steel wonders. As for Mahura I’m not as high as others on him as I don’t see him being more than a puck moving 3rd pair guy.
