Yep. which is the tell tale sign of a bad trade for the other team (CLB). grimace

Korpisalo isn't worth a 2nd let alone a 1st. Easy no from the Oilers. He's a back-up goalie that's had 1 good season in his career out of 4. Oilers need someone to compete for a starting job and that's not Korpisalo.

How many fanbases are you trying to troll at once with this one? It's impressive work.

Drouin is an undesirable from the Jackets' perspective, so having him as the centerpiece of a Jones trade is abhorrent.
Getting a 1st for Korpi - in 2022 no less! - would be great for us, but the Oilers are really not going to like that.
The Nashville trade is arguably bad for both sides, but especially so for Nashville - yeah, Duchene hasn't worked out, but that doesn't mean his contract is going to be moved at the cost of a 1st AND the best defensive prospect in the organization AND another 2nd.
The NYI trade... wow. I'm beginning to wonder if you just hate defensemen. You have us giving away Seth Jones for a crappy return, but then turn around and have the Islanders hand over arguably the best defenseman they've ever had since Potvin for pennies on the dollar at best.
And the Eichel trade... oh, the Eichel trade. Trolling both fanbases at once by making Roslovic - a hometown player who had a great breakout playing here and thus among the only good news we got all year - be the ONLY NHL roster player going to Buffalo. Someone the Jackets fanbase would hate to lose, and yet is utterly insufficient for the Sabres. That's g-ddamn master class right there. Bravo.

Seriously, all of this is terrible.

Why do I continue to see Laine getting 7M+ on a 3year or more deal? Was he that much better in the 2nd half? I'm basing this off of not actually watching him play in a CBJ uniform, mind you. But seeing his game in Winnipeg the last 2 seasons and his point totals over the last 2 years, I'm trying to understand why he's getting that much?

I'm sorry if I'm being ignorant, just trying to justify it. If there's a valid reason, then thank you for explaining smile
