with that much cap space they can sign a nice 3C to bolster the bottom 6. galchenyuk and kerfoot in the top 6 is iffy too

- I don't think Amirov is going to be ready to make the jump just yet
- Dermott had something like 7 points this season and is still an RFA, so unlikely he gets anything more than 1 million
- With the cap space here, I'd want to sign a better backup than Hutchinson in the $2-3 million range, as well as either a really solid 3rd line centre, or 2 third line forwards to bolster that forward group

i doubt amirov plays full time this year, but def deserves at least a 5 game stint this year, hes another year or two our from a full time spot
