Boston would most likely have to add a few picks or prospects but I feel Toronto would be interested, But who knows

They gave you guys Rask and the picks to Seguin and Hamilton, So I wouldn't be too surprised if they did a trade together

It's not a bad idea. I think Debrusk struggling this year means Boston would need to add a pick like a 2nd and maybe another prospect. I would do this trade if it was offered, but I think it would be Debrusk and a 1st if offered by Toronto. But also I don't think these 2 teams would ever actually trade with each other.

they have a long history of trading with eachother, i dont think that logic is smart. you trade with whatever gets you the best return. When making a trade you should automatically assume youre going to win the trade, you dont trade to lose a trade. The team is irrelevant if you believe you are going to win the trade, it should be a positive giving a team you dont like negative value. If thats not your mindset going into trade negotiations you shouldnt be the one making the trade.

My first thought is why is carlo signing for 2 freaking million?

My second thought is that these two teams will not be trading with each other.

Debrusk and a first? I think toronto will get a first for him, but no more.

They traded 7th round picks this year, but prior to that they hadn't made a trade with each other since 2011

Shouldn’t the Leafs be trying to extend Rielly? Their defense would be abysmal without him. Very confused here.

rielly isnt good defensively and is replaceable with sandin. their overall defence would get a boost by replacing him

I think you'd be surprised. For $5 mil to have a defenseman with the ability to put up 50-60 points in a full season, that is not a easy thing to find.
