Buf fans gonna hate it

Created by: Jah1722
Team: 2021-22 Anaheim Ducks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 16, 2021
Published: Jun. 16, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Young 2nd liner, young 3rd liner, prospect with high upside, and 3OA. Just about the max I’d give up for Eichel. If BUF would take Henrique I’d add him and a 2022 3rd.

Don’t think the Flyers would have any interest in moving Oskar with what he’s been through.

Buf has no interest at all in that offer. Only real value there is the pick

When you’re acquiring the player who will be the best player on your team as soon as the deal goes through your best prospect is going on the other end. If you refuse you’re not getting it done. Someone else will offer their best prospect in return for one of the top young centers in the game.

Just say you know nothing about the players involved.

I think the only value in all 3 of those players is their potential, which i don't forsee any of the 3 reaching.

Like I said just say you know nothing about the players. Terry adds some finishing and he becomes a very good fwd. Perrault is 19 yr old who shoulda been playing in JRs but just put up 17 points in 27 games in SD. Jones is the only iffy player here but he’s been consistently getting better each season.

Even if all three prospects are very good players none of them have the potential to be what Jack Eichel already is. Jack Eichel is one of the top young centers in the game, and a potential Hart trophy candidate in the last full season that he was healthy. He has the kind of skill that can take over a game. When you’re getting a game changing player you have to give up something you otherwise wouldn’t. Good prospects just isn’t good enough, you need an A+ blue chip prospect that is a can’t miss player. The point is you’d be giving up some of the future to have it right now. Buffalo isn’t going to take a handful of maybes in exchange for a sure thing.

They aren’t all prospects so again, just say you know nothing about them.

BUF isn’t getting a player that will be as good as Eichel. BUF has already lost the trade before it was even made. No one is giving up a Zegras or Byfield type of prospect.

Also Eichel is no longer a sure thing. He has a serious injury that BUF fans seem to just ignore.

I’ve said it many times but other fans seem to forget. Buffalo has all the leverage, Eichel has none. He has a five-year contract he can’t get out of, and unless the Sabres get the offer they want they are under no obligation to trade him no matter what he wants. If he is getting traded it’s because Buffalo got the offer they want. If they aren’t getting the offer they want they shouldn’t move him because like you said they can’t win the trade unless it’s something they want. I still expect that unless they get the offer they want this summer he’s going to start the season in Buffalo, prove he’s healthy and still an elite player. When his trade value is such that teams will meet Buffalo’s asking price that’s when he gets moved if at all. You don’t have to agree, and Elliott Friedman is an idiot, so his opinion doesn’t matter.

Lol BUF holds zero leverage. Eichel will not be a Sabre opening night.

Reading these comments is hilarious. Buffalo fans are going to be so pissed with the return. People are forgetting the entire reason he wants a trade is because no doctor would recommend the surgery he wants. The 3rd overall and fantastic prospects is more than enough.
