    JVR to Seattle seems more likely than NJ. Probably throw Ghost in there and a pick or prospect to clean up the cap situation.

    That JVR to NJ for a third should have happened by now if it was ever going to happen at all.

    I don't really agree. Trades seldom take place before the playoffs wrap up and JVR not only burned another year of his deal, but had a really good season as well (not to mention the necessity for a shakeup)

    NJ? Fitzgerald is on record saying he is only looking to aquire players in the age vicinity of Hischier and Hughes. If he takes older veterans (which I agree is needed) he'd look for a cap dump compensation opportunity or something with lesser draft capital cost.
    Third round draft picks are Looong shots, but in a year like this one, with the lack of scouting, more picks are better. There will be late round gems for sure. Idk, I just dont see NJ taking JVR, despite the popularity of this trade on AGM.
    Maybe I'm wrong.
