I will kinda disagree, he is good. IT's just he gets injured ALOT and doesn't use his size to his advantage. I think a change of scenery would benefit him alot and, who knows, he could perform greatly on buffalo.

If he doesn't use the advantages that he was born with (like size), and he can't stick in the NHL using only his skill, then you'd actually have to agree with @Rhea . He might be good at beer league hockey, but not NHL caliber hockey. A big power forward that doesn't use his size and gets hurt when he does is not a valuable asset to anyone unless they are looking for AHL or ECHL depth. And BUF has enough issues at the NHL level to be looking for a guy to play in the minors.

@Dutchies yeah you do raise a good point, its just frustrating to see the talent he has and not being able to make it work at NHL level as a sens fan.

Agreed, I originally had high hopes for him.
I also think it would be a huge mistake for the Sens to go after Eichel. It's going to eat up too much of the great work Dorian has done. They'd be better suited going after Reinhart.

Hey id be more than happy to trade for Reinhart too, its just Eichel is available right now and everyone knows he wants out of buffalo, so why not try and trade for him, and if it doesn't work, ill take a Reinhart.

Reinhart wants out too. And I just don't feel Eichel would be a good fit in OTT. It's gonna cost them too much in youth and picks. And keep in mind, Brady needs a contract (which will probably be 8 over 7) and Batherson needs one. Reinhart will come in between 7 and 8, giving the team an extra 2-3 mil a year to spend elsewhere, without a significant dip in production or the worry of reinjury risk.
