While I'm sure the Canucks would love Reilly we already have Hughes and he and Petey need to get paid, Reilly doesn't jibe with that plan

If you want a minor trade from Vancouver like Holl or Dermott then Vancouver may talk but why would we trade assets for kerfoot when there is 10 other centers in free agency. Reilly is a free agent next year we can talk to him then

This is a good point, I think no question Vancouver would want Reilly- that top four is kind of bad, and he's a hometown guy, but it will complicate the cap.

Honestly, I see Rielly as a fit in VAN. A left side of Hughes, Rielly, Rathbone for the next 5-7 years would be nasty. However, this is too high of a price. I get adding Roussel brings down JT's value but Kerfoot is likely to be exposed so his value is diminished (plus his caphit is a tad high for what he brings) and Rielly is a year away from UFA so VAN could just sign him and not trade assets for him.

VAN is not moving Miller, they team wants to keep him and he doesn't want to leave.
