Sabres laugh at that offer for Dahlin, originally I was thinking it was for Risto and almost blew up lol.

Sabres get a 25-30 goal winger, Middle 6 center prospect, top 4 d prospect, a top 4 d man and a 2022 1st (20-25 ovr) and a 2nd this year. Thats a lot for a guy whos just had an awful season

1, Sabres have 3 25-30 goal scorers (Skinner, Oloffson and Reinhart) they don't have a playmaker.
      2. Poehling is not a middle 6 center he is a bottom 6 center at best 3rd line.
      3. Harris has no value really until he signs on the dotted line with the Habs. Most teams will wait to see what his true intentions are, if they can sign him for free after next year then they do that rather than waste assets to trade for him.
      4. Kulak is NOT a top 4 D man he is a bottom pair that can fill in higher up the lineup occasionally.
      5. That 1st will be 28th or worse so really its 2 2nds and a bunch of crap other than Anderson.

would you trade nick suzuki for a sabres 2nd rd pick, kyle okposo and ristolianen? you wouldn't right? because none of those pieces are game changing elite. same issue here. dahlin can be a norris caliber D with better support. it'll cost a player like caufield or suzuki to get dahlin.

sabers wonder if this offer is a joke or not. you would have to PAY them to take on josh andersons contract, let alone give you dahlin for him
