So Leafs give up Rielly and Marner and a 1st for a bunch of middle 6 players and a backup goalie?

Obviously not a great trade, but adding those players definitely ales them better as it gives them more depth in places they could use it. Don’t get me wrong this is obviously not what would actually happen in such a trade, but I guarantee the team you’d have after this would be far superior in the playoffs.
