I think that would be a great idea for the Sens. It’s too much though.

Maybe Stuetzle, Murray, and this years 1st. Which would be a top 10 pick. Murray is still just 27.

Sens need their #1 center. Getting a #1 Center would end the rebuild in my opinion.

Honestly it’d probably be mutually beneficial for both teams.

I would even go Stuetzle, Brannstrom, Murray and the 1st round pick this year. If it isn’t a top 5 pick.

If it is a top 5, u can’t trade it. Even in this years draft. Way too valuable. I top 5 pick should be a cornerstone of the organization for the next 8-10 years.

Top 5 picks just don’t get traded. Ever, like never ever.

If it’s 6-10 though. I’d be in. The 1st, Stuetzle, Brannstrom and Murray.

I think having Chabot and Sanderson coming up within the next 2 years at LHD makes Brannstrom expendable. And Sens can sign a vet 3rd pairing LHD.

That's too much imo. If you looked at the rumored Ducks deal this one beats that one badly already.

Most likely Sabers take back a contract.

And taking back Murray who is still just 27 years old is good value. Along with Stuetzle, Brannstrom and a top 10 pick.

Ya, 4 NHL players. 3 young prospects and a starting goalie. Ya, very good value. More than they will get probably.

No way they would get a top 10 pick from 6-10, Stuetzle, Brannstrom and another prospect like Formation and Murray. That would be 5 players. Teams just don’t do that.

A pick from 6-10 should be a cornerstone of a organization for the next 8-10 years. They rarely ever get traded. Way too valuable. Plus Stuetzle. Ya, that’s very good value, no matter what is added on. That’s the heart of the deal.

Buffalo definitely takes back a contract though.

Yes they take a contract back but thats still not a positive. Sabres are taking Power, they dont need Brannstrom

Yeah I think the Sabres just want an elite prospect back for Eichel that will help them compete when they are done their rebuild.

Whatever my man. I bet they would take that deal, but Sens wouldn’t do it until the draft lottery. If it’s a top 5 pick. No way. They just don’t get traded. Ever. Like never ever.

But 6-10, Stuetzle, Brannstrom, Murray, I would be willing to bet Sabers take that. The Sens would be on the Fence.

But IMO, Sens need that #1 center.

The rebuild is in the right direction. Just missing that #1 C.

Eichel is coming off an injury too.

    Tkachuk/Eichel/Batherson
    Dadonov/Norris/C.Brown
    N.Paul/Tierney/C.White
    Formation/Pinto/Watson

    Chabot/Zaitsev
    Sanderson/Zub
A FA. Signing/ JDB or Josh Brown

    F.Gustavsson
    Mads Sogaard

That’s very solid. I would even trade Pinto for a legit 4th line Center that is a better two, more physical and good on the PK. To Center Formation/Watson.

The draft lottery happened. The Sabres probably take Stutzle the 1st and Murray, but theyd ask for literally anything else but a d prospect
