That’s a dangerous Palmieri contract. Ladd 2.0

lol exactly - he'll score 12-15 goals at most next season. Just like James Neal when he signed a similar deal with Calgary

5.5x4 would be more reasonable for Palms

Honestly they shouldn’t offer more than 4 years at 5 mill. Maybe even try 3 years like Dadonov

^this. If he demands 5 or more, gotta cut it down to 3 years. Lou won't make the same mistake twice.

Wait did Lou ink the Ladd contract or was that whoever came before him?

My bet is 3x5.5M, but with Seattle. I don’t think NYI could afford him without trading away bailey/Leddy.

Mayfield is my pick for the expansion draft, Bellows being 2nd. He's too much of a just good value. Could play for cheap as 3rd RHD or be a trading chip for Seattle.

Scary term to give Palmieri. Feel like Hyman would be a perfect Trotz guy.

I don’t think so. Puloch, Pelech and Hickey are more likely candidates.

I think the Pelech contract needs to be higher. He's been an absolute stud this year and is gonna command more.

Palmieri would want more term

The reason he didn't resign with NJ was because they didn't give him much term

We'll take Ladd, but probably need a better piece than Wilde.
