Curious what Jets and Flyers fans would think of this deal, on the pretense that Copp won't sign long-term, etc. (?) If you think it's a maybe, if the deals are close, what would you change??

Philly doesn't need any help on center or on left wing.

That should be an easy pass by the Jets. Braun and Beaulieu are a wash, but Copp and Vesalainen are worth far more that Hagg and Patrick.

Yeah, probably right. Though I think Braun is an upgrade on Beaulieu. (Mind you I haven't watched a Flyers game in a long while . . . most of what I base this on is his time with San Jose.)

What's really troubling is that after all the time I've spent on here lambasting Jets fans who suggest we should go out and get Patrick, I should be ashamed of doing just that! (wrists slapped)

I feel like value-wise for the Flyers this is a fantastic deal, I would take it in a heartbeat
