This is the second Price to Pens trade I've seen today. Unless MTL all of a sudden has a young goalie on an ELC come out of nowhere and kills it, I can't envision any scenario where MTL moves Price.

From my understanding the recapture penalty the Habs would suffer, if Price was dealt and retired early, would be devastating and hit when their young core are in their mid-20s. Even before the playoffs when Price had struggled lots of Habs fans were calling to trade him, it wasn't going to happen. Unless it's in the last year of his contract, they can't afford to trade him.
