This is surprising. It seemed like Dauphin, Poehling, & Blandisi we’re all ahead of him on the depth chart at the end of the year, and he doesn’t really have much room to improve. Although with Weal in the KHL, Myšák in the OHL, and Poehling potentially in the NHL, I can see why they might want to bring him back.

I could definitely see him as a De La Rose type player. Very good defensively with no offensive ability. Might be a good shutdown 4th line center one day.

Great defensive center. I expect him to become a good defensive bottom 6 forward for the Habs. Good signing!
