Lol. Isles counter with bellows and a 2nd for caufield. Beauvillier is worth a lot more than that rn. Hes one of our best all around players, is young, and the islanders are trying to win now. You wont be able to get him unless theres a massive overpay. Also hes gonna get more than that think 5x5.

Ill tell you how i see it. I see beauvillier as a 30 goal scorer in another system (rn hes been around 25 the last 2 years excluding the playoffs when hes been better) hes very fast great skater, very smart, solid defensively, and 24 years old. So what would you pay for a 30-60 forward like that? Probably a lot. Then take into account that this is a team thats trying to win now so hes even more valuable plus its a very old team so the good young guys are worth even more. So its gonna cost you a hell of a lot if you wanna get him.
As for what the price would be, hes a player i wouldnt lock myself into a price rather hear an offer and see what it is (and probably say no).

How much do you envision him costing on this upcoming contract seeing as he already signed a bridge? The salary cap situation is less than ideal

Which would put the Isles roughly 6 million over the cap. Who do envision moving to open up that space realistically. Im not arguing, just trying to learn more about what Isles fans see happening given the flat cap.

Unless Lou can convince Ladd to retire lol
