Kings won't trade one of the big 3 centers to New York without K'Andre being involved. Thats the starting piece, not Buch.

in your opinion, who has the higher value? Miller or Vilardi?

Thats a tough question. I dont view Miller as a true #1LD, but he's someone that could compliment Drew. As for Vilardi, he automatically goes straight to New York's 2nd line, with low-end 1C upside. I would love to see what he could do with players of Panarin and Kakko's ilk.

The values are fairly similar in my opinion. Maybe a small pick going to New York from LA because Miller has one more year of ELC. But its pretty close.

Gotta go with Vilardi

I can see how Miller doesn't move you as much as others, but growth isn't linear

I dont hate the idea of the trade, because I think Matthew Robertson's potential is equally as high as Miller's and can fill the spot left behind.

Strome for Greenway might be close to fair value except Greenway has a cheaper RFA contract and Strome does not. So I think Rangers add.
Personally Strome isn't the guy I want for the Wild but if they strike out on Eichel then this might be a trade worth looking at.

Why are we paying to move DeHaan? Theres absolutely no need. He's a solid NHL calibre shutdown D Man not a cap dump.

He's missed a little over 50 games over these past 2 Seasons, with his Offensive output degrading significantly.

Considering his Cap hit, I don't think the Hawks have gotten much bang for their buck.

He's in his last year of his contract, we could move him at TDL and retain and get paid to do so if we want but I wouldn't be paying someone to take him. He holds value regardless of his injury record.
