Trades
1.
TOR
  1. Durzi, Sean
  2. Kempe, Adrian
  3. 2021 2nd round pick (LAK)
Additional Details:
Why this makes sense for Toronto:

1. Rielly will command too much next year as an impending FA.

2. This helps Toronto’s lottery protection and will encourage them to go 7-3 instead of 4-4 in return they can keep a player like Kerfoot (who I am not all that thrilled about) but gives them some depth in their lineup.

3. Recieve Durzi back whom they lost in the Muzzin trade. RHD with high upside but who is expendable to the Kings who have a plethora of incoming prospects.

3. Adrian Kempe is a great young player but with Byfield, Vilardi, Turcotte, Thomas, Madden, Kaliyev and Kupari all coming up, some rosters players become expendable

4. This is what I would say is similar return to what Winnipeg got for Trouba. They recieved the 20th overall pick and a top prospect D (Pionk)
LAK
  1. Rielly, Morgan
Additional Details:
Why this makes sense for Kings:

1. They have claimed they are going to make a few big moves, one potentially being Eichel but another one potentially Rielly.

2. They are one of the few teams that can add another D man for the expansion draft and not lose somebody of significance.

3. They can afford his next contract and I believe he would resign there, especially from being from the west coast.
2.
TOR
  1. Domi, Max ($2,000,000 retained)
  2. 2021 4th round pick (CBJ)
3.
4.
TOR
  1. 2021 6th round pick (NYI)

5 years after hes drafted and leafs fans still don't have Liljegren in the lineup (while often still using him as the center piece of big trades)

If Columbus is retaining salary, then they should be getting a pick back, not giving one up.

Well I disagree with your LA/Leafs analysis. Durzi not have high upside as you suggest. Kempe is not a "great" young player. But if those two statement were true, then the Kings shouldn't trade for a rental in Reilly.

As I stated, I don’t think Rielly is a rental as I believe he would resign there

Quite an assumption. Then maybe the Kings should wait till till next summer then and sign him for free.
