I know I'm a broken record, but I think Ottawa should keep Dadonov around. He had good underlying numbers, he can easily bounce back. His contract is not a problem given the term.

Also starting the season with J.Brown in the top 6 seems like a missed opportunity. He was fine down the stretch, but even at his best he's extremely easy to upgrade on.

i was just kind of toying with the idea of what we could do if dononov gets taken, i think theres enough players we could pivot to that might make it make sense to leave him exposed. but for brown i was mostly hoping the upgrades come from in-house with JBD/thomson instead of overcrowding the 3RD spot, just have him there cause i think he actually starts the year for us

I think I'd rather just keep White and see if he can build on last season. Definitely having a little ptsd giving up a 2nd for old centres with high salary. If a package could be built around a 3rd im interested tho. Saw a ducks fan who wanted Dac and a 3rd for Henrique with 1.5m retained, most palatable thing I've seen so far.

ya im just not a white fan, and if we bring in henriques salary id be more than happy to swap his salary for whites opposed to just adding 5m
