im a pens fan and I dont agree

If Matheson gets taken by Seattle and they move do decide to move Petterson, Rielly makes sense.

Brian Burke is part of that team now and was the man who drafted Rielly and was high on him

If anything if Rielly is available Burke probs gonna ask Hextall to overpay for him lul

    would not mind

I've actually never seen a rielly trade to pittsburgh on this site. I've seen a lot of Vancouver, Edmonton, Boston, even Dallas, but not Pittsburgh

nah Mccann would not work as a center option as he hes like Kerfoot cant win one for ****. Plus hes one of the few untouchables for Pittsburgh

would rather either just get picks and prospects, Bleuger would probs be the guy I would want back.

Can make a cheap defensive 3rd line around him

What?? The GM is the heavier title. President of hockey operations is the GMs right hand man. the GMs advisor. A “second” opinion. GM has the final say for sure. Well the owner. But most owners back off. But the owner can veto or overrule the GM. But whatever, that’s not what the argument is. GM > president of hockey operations.

exactly, they really don't get the fact that it's hextalls show. He was the guy brought in to do what he does, aka rebuild, draft. Their only 2 moves as a team, both ties to Hextall.

Again..umm, what r u talking about..?? Go ahead google it. Idiot. U do some research.

    Copy and pasted.

Whether the exact title is president of hockey operations or senior vice president of hockey operations or senior advisor to the general manager, the position of right-hand man to the general manager has become a necessity because of the increasing burdens of a big-league operation.

    Lol.

    Again copy and pasted

The exact nature of the job and how the management structure works differs from franchise to franchise — Rick Dudley’s position as senior vice president of hockey operations with the Carolina Hurricanes isn’t exactly the same as Chris Pronger’s job as senior advisor to the president of hockey operations with the Florida Panthers — but in general terms, the role is to serve as a sounding board, a voice of sober second thought, an experienced hockey mind that understands the current climate of the NHL.

why are you over here even trying to argue this. You look clueless.

    Just look at the team.

    Head of scouting move.....Hextalls guy.
    1st player move Friedman....Hextalls guy.
1st trade, Carter ... Hextalls guy.
"Hextall was Philadelphia's director of player personnel when the Flyers selected Carter"

You'd have to live in a cave devoid of all reality to not realize who is running the show.
