Description
It's insane to me that this feels somewhat reasonable. I didn't think the money would ever work or that we cold have the right assets to pull this off. We may not even still, but the fact that it's possible is crazy to me.

I like the Eichel trade like this, but if it needed to be Rossi rather than Boldy or Frost, I'd do that.

GMBG has his hands full.

Neat to get Eichel while keeping Rossi

I thought the title referred to the expansion selection situation and I reckon they'd need to incentivize with soucy given the other options available ultimately

Parise is better in 10 minutes per game or less. If they can convince him of that he'll do well next year

Yeah, I wondered about that. But trading Dumba before the ED would make it easier. If we needed to encourage taking Soucy over Talbot/Hartman by throwing in a second or a third, I would do it.

A top 4D in his prime with two years left on his contract isn't worth a 1st Rd and a prospect who missed the entire season with an injury?

You say he isn't worth an unproven prospect and a 1st. It is being rumored a few days ago that they would consider trading Konecny for Dumba and a mid tier prospect. Konecny would be amazing in a Wild jersey! More talented Hartman imo.
