Not enough for Toews and too much for Foote

Lotta ACGM's out there asking for a major overpay on 1 year of Reinhart, but this is too shy IMO. Wayyyy too late of a 1st, Johnsson coming off a "meh" season, and a 2nd doesn't get both of those players.

You want Reinhart, you're looking at a 1st+decent prospect as a starting point. Risto probably nets that 2nd (or a bit later 2nd...).

Wings pass, Yzerman likes big, rangy D and Butcher is the opposite of that

unless it' a serious overpay neither Foote nor Cernak are available

Any talk with Reinhart has to come with a convo about extending and Devs need to sweeten the pot. I think Risto negates Reinharts value (and I want Risto) and is less than a 2nd for a full contract coming to us. Its probably 2 differnt trades but worked into each other.

If im Tampa i take that deal any day, Foote has shown some glimpses but his "Foote" speed is lacking to be a solid top 4 dman. getting a potential lottery pick could do wonders in 2022 especially how deep the draft is.

Yeah, that would be a no from COL. Top pairing dmen require significantly more than 3rd line winger and a 2nd tier prospect, ALOT more.
