Easy no from ARI, what would they do with Kassian? They would want another 1st as well if they are tacking those contracts.

I don't know I'd go that far. I'm not sure which team's perspective you mean that from, but the oilers get significantly better immediately. Chychrun and Dvorak are signed to great contracts. The Oilers need to be in a win now mentality, so giving up some quality futures is necessary. I'd argue that EDM might have to give a little more. Chychrun is an absolute stud and Dvorak gives you exactly what you're missing.

EDIT: I'm not sure if the AGM here meant to put Dvorak at LW, but Dvorak is a legit 2C to keep Drai next to McD or if they decided to put Drai at 2C then you have a crazy good 3C. Your depth would be insane.

So what if I remove the 2022 3rd Rounder and replace it with the 2022 1st Rounder?

IMO that would be fair. AZ needs quality picks badly. I'm not sure that some of these Oiler fans know too much about Chychrun, but he's going to be a norris contender for years to come.

I don't think anyone in general knows about Chychrun, once he's put on a contending team, everything about the way he plays will stand out and he'll be highly appreciated by fans and league staff

Yeah. The kid is 23 and just scored 18G for 41 points in 56 games on a ridiculously bad AZ team, not to mention he's signed for four years at $4.6M. so basically his entire prime years. If the Pens had any chance of landing him in a trade I'd give as much as they could lol. Chychrun is EXACTLY what the Oilers are missing on the back end.

There's only so much you can realistically give up in any trade no matter how good the player is. Two firsts, a third and two good prospects is pretty fair. I can get on board that maybe there needs to be a little more, but I think this is close.
