I mean, I don't hate the move, but I don't understand it. Riikola for Nathan seems like a lateral moved.

Jets wouldn't put Heinola on the top pair to start the year. The smart move would be put him on the third pair and shelter him for the first quarter to half season.

Honestly, they have that in Riikola. Beaulieu is a little bigger than him, but Riikola honestly plays a more physical game. Again, I wouldn't be mad at that move, but it's largely lateral. Also, while the Pens want grit and toughness, but they want impact players who can play that way. Not an easy task for them to get, but that's their aim.

Fair. I just think Riikola doesn’t get enough credit for how good he actually is. Same with Pettersson

Oh, I 100% agree. Pens fans along with the media are honestly baffled by how they've handled Riikola. Riikola is going to be a steal to any team he goes to. I also agree on Pettersson.
