Description

Let's be real, Chevy won't go after Hamilton as there are other teams that will pay more. There will probably be some other cheap depth signings since Little will stay on LTIR.
-Vesalainen looked good against Edmonton so he might be ready for a larger role. Perfetti I think would look great next to another player known for his intelligence in Stastny while Reaves helps clear bodies out of the way for them lol. I also think that Vegas will need to offload some salary and Reaves wouldn't mind finishing his career in Winnipeg.
-Hamonic is another player the Jets have been linked to forever since he's also from Manitoba and would provide much needed stabilization for the RD (essentially he's the safe Chevy signing). Not 100% sure what his contract would be but the Jets have space.
-Copp would be the easy choice for analytics-driven Seattle to select over whichever defenseman is exposed as he's defensively responsible and his offense is growing
-I just signed the AHL RFAs to league minimum for a few years each
-2025 is going to be perhaps the most interesting offseason in Jets history...

Massive overpay for hamonic. 1.5 is more than enough considering he has a house here already. Also playing reaves with perfetti makes no sense. Remember when Edmonton tried the same kinda thing with Lucic and mcdavid. Play skill with skill and play tough guys with tough guys.

Can't see Perfetti being an NHL player next season and that D core will get knocked around IF this team made the playoffs.
